Insurance
The cost of therapy with insurance varies depending on your provider, plan, and deductible. Please contact your insurance company to verify your coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
I am currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
- Aetna
- Oxford
- Quest
- Oscar
- United
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
Depending on your insurance provider or employee benefits plan, your therapy services may be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider directly to verify your coverage for psychotherapy services.
When contacting your insurance company, I recommend asking the following questions to help clarify your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan cover mental health services?
- Do I have a deductible, and if so, what is it? Have I met it yet?
- Is there a limit on the number of therapy sessions I can have per year? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need a referral or written approval from my primary care physician for therapy services to be covered?
Payment
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full session rate.
Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the Public Health Service Act, Section 2799B-6, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of the expected costs for non-emergency healthcare services, including mental health services.
If you do not have insurance or choose not to use insurance, healthcare providers are required by law to give you an estimate of the expected charges before you receive services. You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling any appointments.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
